This piece of green baize felt was removed from Titanic by a merchant seaman while the ship was docked in Belfast for her fitting out. It is likely that this fabric was used to upholster the card tables in the first class smoking room as well as desk tops in several first class staterooms. This piece entered the collection as a generous gift from our friend Kevin Saucier of titanicitems.com
